Welcome to the Operation HOPE Volunteer Management System! Operation HOPE is dedicated to providing the best-in-class volunteer experience for individuals and partners.

This Volunteer Management System will allow you, the volunteer, to sign up to teach classes, attend volunteer trainings, and track your volunteer activity throughout your time as a volunteer at Operation HOPE.

This is a brief orientation that will cover the types of opportunities we have available and the next steps to becoming a Operation HOPE Volunteer. Here at Operation HOPE, you can volunteer for the following:

  • Banking on Our Future - Instructor: A volunteer experience that invites you to enter school classrooms and engage community-based organizations (e.g. girl scouts) and teach financial education to youth grades 4 thru 12. Curriculum requests you to teach youth on basic financial topics such as budgeting, bank accounts and credit. Time commitment: 45 - 60 minute per session - volunteers invited to sign up for as many sessions as they wish.
  • HOPE Business In A Box Academies - Instructor: A volunteer experience that invites you to enter school classrooms and engage community-based organizations (e.g. girl scouts) and teach entrepreneurial topics and skills to youth grades 4 thru 12. Curriculum requests you to teach youth on basic small-business and entrepreneurial topics such as a business plan, target markets, and budgeting. Time commitment: 60 minutes to 12 hours. Time commitment: 45 - 60 minute per session - volunteers invited to sign up for as many sessions as they wish.
  • HOPE Business In A Box Academies - Business Mentor: A volunteer experience that invites you to use your business expertise and employment experience to mentor youth through their entrepreneurial journey. This includes assisting the student with expanding their business plan, finalizing a budget, working on a business pitch, and giving them skills and insight into the business world. Time commitment: 10 hours.
